The Art of Nature Photography Seminar

The Art of Nature photography seminars are a full day learning experience in a group setting. Each seminar is limited to 25 participants, so everyone will have a chance to get their questions answered individually.

In a time when literally everyone can take a good photo, there is a fine line between good and great work. Even among the many “professional photographers” out there, many of them have little understanding of the art and simply document what they see. The best photos are a combination of technical mastery, emotions, and thoughtful art. Fine art photography is deliberate, and everything from the lens choice to post-processing reveals the personal style of an individual photographer.

Throughout the day, you’ll learn the seven basic elements of art, lighting, composition, technical aspects of nature photography, and more. You’ll learn how to visualize the end photo before you even take the shot. You’ll learn how to process photos to bring out the elements you want to emphasize. The end of the seminar will be open to a question and answer session, or you can visit individually later with questions.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to book your spot. This is refundable up until 30 days before the seminar date, when the remaining 50% balance is due. If you decide to cancel between 30 and 15 days before the seminar date, you will receive a 50% refund, forfeiting your 50% deposit. No refunds are given within 15 days of the seminar date. If we need to cancel the seminar, you will be given a full refund or credit for rescheduled date. We are not responsible for any losses you incur from a cancelation. If you are traveling to the area, we recommend you purchase trip or travel insurance.
